Recently, after more than four months of continuous follow-up, Baosteel's hot-rolled production and marketing research team successfully signed orders for hot-rolled pipeline steel for export projects. The order is also a single maximum order contract obtained by the Steel Exit of Baosteel in recent years.

Over the years, based on the trend of the planning and materials development of the China Oil and Gas Pipeline Network, Baosteel successfully developed the steel pipeline steel above the large-scale X70 or above and actively explored the stable manufacturing technology of high-steel and large-volume hot-rolled pipelines. Baosteel has formed the capacity of high-end pipeline steel products in batches and stable manufacturing capabilities.

In 2019, Baosteel hot-rolled thickness specifications high-steel pipeline steel successfully passed the certification of the western pipeline, becoming the first steel factory in China to pass the certification. Baosteel hot-rolled high steel level, large wall thickness, and special-performance pipeline steel products have been applied in batches in the heavy pipeline projects such as West Qi East, Chuanqi East, West Fourth Line, Sichuan Second Line, Xinjiang Bozi, Tianjin LNG, and other heavy pipeline projects. As the main supplier of domestic steel for steel, Baosteel fully implements the quality priority and strategic protection measures of the hot rolling pipeline steel. It has made vital contributions to the national oil and gas trunk pipeline network to achieve long-distance transportation, ultra-large-scale input, stability, and long life of pipelines in a complex service environment. It fully reflects the responsibility of Chinese central enterprises in national energy security construction.
