On June 30, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Cross-River Channel (referred to as the "Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel"), a major national project that has been under construction for 7 years, was completed and opened. Ansteel Co., Ltd. supplied 175,400 tons of high-energy-density welded medium and thick plates for the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel submarine tunnel project and is the largest steel plate supplier for the project.

The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel is another super-large transportation project built in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area after the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. It shoulders the important task of "traffic backbone" connecting the urban agglomerations on both sides of the Pearl River Estuary. The project integrates "bridges, islands, tunnels, and underwater interchanges" and is one of the most difficult cross-sea cluster projects in the world. In particular, the submarine tunnel project is the world's longest and widest steel shell concrete immersed tube tunnel, with eight lanes in both directions.

The submarine tunnel project uses high-energy-density welded steel plates. At the beginning of the project construction, related products at home and abroad could not meet the conditions for use. Ansteel Co., Ltd. seized the market opportunity, focused on project construction, established a production, sales, and research team, and took advantage of its technical equipment to develop a new generation of high-energy-wire welded medium and thick plates with high strength, high-efficiency weldability, and high fracture toughness. In the end, the product won first place in the welding performance evaluation of several suppliers. At the same time, Ansteel Co., Ltd. accurately judged customer needs and provided the best service. In the end, it successfully won 175,400 tons out of the total bidding volume of 320,000 tons, becoming the largest steel plate supplier for the project.
