Recently, good news came from the Technology Center of Anyang Steel. After the test plan was formulated by the center, the 20-roll mill successfully broke through the technical bottleneck of high-grade non-oriented electrical steel rolling, and successfully rolled 25AGW270 grade electrical steel with a thickness of 0.25mm and a width of 1060mm. It was successfully annealed in the new material annealing unit of the cold rolling company on April 7. The performance indicators of the finished product are good, and the indicators such as iron loss and magnetic induction intensity are also good.
This trial production uses customized hot coil, normalizing, 20-roll rolling and annealing processes. After the customized hot-rolled electrical steel coil is normalized, the "large reduction + small tension" composite control strategy is adopted to effectively solve the common industry problems such as rolling breakage caused by high-grade electrical steel due to high material hardness and brittleness. While ensuring the electromagnetic properties of the product, the performance of the product, such as the same plate difference, is also greatly improved.
This test breakthrough marks the progress of Anyang Steel's silicon steel product line, extending to high-end fields. 25AGW270 grade products can be widely used in high-end fields such as new energy vehicle drive motors and high-efficiency energy-saving household appliance compressors. The premium capacity is increased by about 15% compared with conventional grade products, providing test data support for the subsequent full-process development of high-grade non-oriented electrical steel.
