China Spot Market Dynamics: Today, the average price of 20mm level three earthquake-resistant rebar was $523.66/ton in 31 major cities, up $3.85/ton from the previous trading day; the Shanghai Rebar USD Pricing Index closed at $511.04/ton, up 0.68%. Specifically, rebar futures fluctuated upward in early trading on the last trading day, trading sentiment in the spot market improved, and trading volume and price rebounded. From the perspective of transactions, the seasonal rebound in demand may drive consumption growth, but the market was slightly cautious on weekends, and transactions mainly rose lightly. It is comprehensively expected that the price of the national building materials market may rise slightly today, and it is necessary to pay attention to changes in market trading volume.
