Recently, an on-site meeting regarding the “Ultra-Low Emission Steel” series of group standards and the authorization to use the corresponding logo was held at Shougang Jingtang, where Shougang Jingtang was granted the right to use the “Ultra-Low Emission Steel” series of standard logos.
Shougang Jingtang, as a benchmark enterprise for green development, has taken the lead in completing the ultra-low emission transformation of the entire process and has been rated as a national "green factory" and a provincial-level leading enterprise in creating an A-level emission standard. All emission indicators are better than the national ultra-low emission control limits. The awarding of the ultra-low emission steel label is a full recognition from the industry of the company's years of dedication to green manufacturing. Going forward, Shougang Jingtang will continue to deeply implement the development concept of "green manufacturing and harmonious coexistence," adhere strictly to standards and bottom lines, and be a leader in standardized implementation; focus on technological breakthroughs and be a pioneer in pollution reduction and carbon reduction; explore market value and be a pathfinder for green transformation; jointly build a green industrial chain and be a builder of the ecological system; further strengthen the ultra-low emission steel brand; and empower the construction of a strong steel province in Hebei by relying on the supply of ultra-low emission and low-carbon products, demonstrating Shougang's responsibility in promoting the green development of China's steel industry.
The "Ultra-Low Emission Steel" series of group standards was jointly formulated by the Hebei Provincial Environmental Science Society and multiple steel companies, environmental monitoring and research institutions in Hebei Province, and was officially released on December 30, 2025. This series of standards proposes a concept system for ultra-low emission steel, specifies an index system for ultra-low emission steel by process, and provides corresponding verification methods and rules. It verifies the emissions of major pollutants in the production process to the unit steel product, providing a technical basis for building a green industrial chain and promoting green trade development. The implementation and application of this series of standards will use steel products as a carrier to build a transformation channel of "green input - green product - green premium". Through market mechanisms, the environmental value of products will be reflected, and enterprises with high environmental protection investment and excellent emission levels will truly gain market recognition.
