Recently, good news came from the Thick Plate Sales Department of Shandong Steel Marketing Corporation: Shandong Steel has won bids for two large polar cruise ship projects for a well-known domestic shipyard, totaling more than 15,000 tons of thick plates. Among them, high-end products such as FH40 high-grade ship plates (Introduction) and narrow tolerance ship plates account for more than 60%, further consolidating Shandong Steel Group's position in the high-end polar ship sector.
With global warming, the strategic value of the "Ice Silk Road" is becoming increasingly prominent, and polar development and polar shipping are becoming new growth poles for the global marine economy.
