Recently, Bengang Group's Plate Cold Rolling Plant successfully rolled anti-oxidation coating-free CF-PHS1500 hot-formed steel with a thickness of 0.8mm-1.8mm. This is the latest breakthrough in thickness and specifications made by Bengang Group after the successful trial production of anti-oxidation coating-free hot-formed steel in 2022. It is of great significance for Bengang Group's lightweight automotive steel production.

In recent years, with the continuous advancement of automobile "carbon reduction and emission reduction" and the increasing demand for lightweight and safety performance in the automotive industry, the research and development and application of new steel materials for automobiles have become an important tool to promote the high-quality development of the automotive industry. After understanding the market trends, Bengang Group made full use of the flexibility of the silicon steel single-stand rolling mill of the Plate Cold Rolling Plant to try to roll thin-gauge anti-oxidation coating-free CF-PHS1500 hot-formed steel.

During the product trial production process, the production technicians of the Plate Cold Rolling Plant and the R&D personnel of the Bengang Technology Center discussed and modified the trial production plan many times. The R&D team focused on the product's characteristics, process requirements, and production difficulties, and they made efforts from multiple angles such as adjusting the process model and improving rolling stability to break through various technical barriers. Finally, the Plate Cold Rolling General Plant successfully rolled the anti-oxidation coating-free CF-PHS1500 hot-formed steel with a thickness of 0.8mm-1.8mm on October 29.

This product can be widely used in automobile anti-collision steel beams, threshold beams, A-pillars, B-pillars, and other parts because of its high-quality characteristics such as high strength, coating-free, high corrosion resistance, and oxidation resistance.
