Recently, the Baihetan Hydropower Station has been put into operation to generate electricity, marking the full completion of the world's largest clean energy corridor. Baosteel actively participated in project construction, and has successively provided more than 40,000 tons of key core silicon steel materials for the generating units of the Baihetan Hydropower Station and its supporting power transmission projects. The Baihetan Hydropower Station Project is the hydro-generator unit with the largest single-unit capacity in the world. The core material of the generator is high-grade non-oriented silicon steel, all of which come from Baowu. Among the 16 units, 13 units are supplied by Baosteel, and the remaining 3 units are supplied by TISCO.
