Bridge steel plate are thick steel plates used for the manufacture of bridge structural members, manufactured using special steel grades of carbon and low-alloy steel for bridge construction, with the word q (bridge) marked at the end of the steel number. Carbon steels for bridge construction are A3q for riveted bridge structures and 16q for welded bridge structures; low-alloy steels for bridge structures are 12Mnq, 12MnVq, 15MnVNq, 16Mnq, etc. The thickness of bridge steel plate is 4.5mm~50 mm.
