Q:What is the difference between a flange and a flange plate?

1. Flange is called (flange connection form, such as a flat plate) steel pipe flange.
2. Flange plate is called (connection form, flat or convex) steel flange cover.
3. Flange is used to connect other pipe fittings, such as valves. Steel pipes and flanges are welded (generally for pipes with a diameter greater than 100mm, threaded connection is preferred for pipes with a diameter less than 100mm), and flanges are connected to valves or other pipe fittings with bolts.
