Q:What are the welding gap requirements?

On: 16/08/2024 08:34:47 / In: Product Standards
A

Different welding materials and welding processes require different welding gaps. For example, for manual arc welding, the commonly used welding gap is 1-2mm; for gas-shielded welding, the welding gap is generally less than 1mm; for high-frequency induction welding, the welding gap can be less than 0.5mm. At the same time, when welding workpieces of different materials and thicknesses, the appropriate welding gap should also be determined according to the actual situation.
