The product should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated indoor environment, avoiding open-air storage and locations prone to condensation or large temperature fluctuations. It should be stored in a clean and tidy environment, protected from corrosive media. The storage area should be flat, free of hard objects, and have sufficient load-bearing capacity. Horizontal steel coils should be placed on rubber mats, wooden blocks, or brackets, with the straps and buckles facing upwards; they should not be placed directly on the ground or transport vehicle. To avoid crushing, steel coils are generally not stacked.
Necessary protective measures should also be taken around the vehicle to prevent dents or damage to the packaging. Vertically packaged steel coils should also be kept upright during transport and loading/unloading. The product should be securely fixed to prevent relative movement or rolling during transport, which could cause damage or accidents. Steel plates should not be dragged when removing them to prevent burrs from the cuts and cutting processes from scratching the underlying steel plate.
Transportation:
1. During transportation, maintain the original packaging in its factory condition and do not open it arbitrarily.
2. Keep the inside of the transport vehicle clean and use rubber mats to prevent dents or damage to the packaging.
3. The coils should be securely fastened to prevent damage or accidents caused by movement or rolling during transportation.
4. Do not drag the color steel sheets; otherwise, burrs will cause surface scratches.
5. Clamp the steel coils on both sides with wooden pads, or secure them to the vehicle with chains or wire.
6. Use anti-slip materials such as sheet metal or straw mats inside the truck bed. Steel straps (height greater than 2.5 times width) must be bundled into two bundles.
7. Use suction cups or soft slings during handling to avoid direct contact between the steel wire ropes and the sheet surface.
Loading and Unloading:
1. Use anti-slip materials inside the truck bed according to the weight of the steel coils; load horizontally, spreading evenly inside the truck from the rear to the middle.
2. Use rubber mats between the lifting equipment and the product to prevent collisions.
3. Do not stack.
