Solutions for hot-dip galvanized steel getting wet:
1. Slight blackening of hot-dip galvanized steel: Immediately disassemble the wet parts and place them in a well-ventilated area to dry, avoiding stacking, which can lead to moisture buildup.
2. Grayish-white rust spots on the surface of hot-dip galvanized steel: Gently wipe away the rust powder with a soft cloth until it comes off, then spray with a special hot-dip galvanizing spray paint for protection.
3. Local blackening and oxidation of hot-dip galvanized steel: Sand the oxidized area with sandpaper of 240 grit or higher until the intact zinc layer is exposed, then spray with a phosphate conversion coating or apply a freezing zinc coating to form a protective layer.
4. Severe blackening or zinc layer peeling of hot-dip galvanized steel: Use a 5% to 10% diluted hydrochloric acid solution for pickling to remove corrosion, rinse with clean water and dry, then re-hot-dip galvanize, carefully controlling the zinc bath temperature and immersion time. After treatment, take special care to prevent secondary corrosion; store off the ground and in a well-ventilated area.
5. Ungalvanized steel or steel with a thin galvanized layer: Rain exposure may cause severe rusting. Light rust can be removed with a wire brush until a metallic shine is achieved. Thicker rust layers require sandblasting or other professional rust removal treatments.

1. Treatment of water ingress into the whole piece: If the angle steel is waterlogged, it should be disassembled immediately and placed in a ventilated place to dry. If the rain exposure is short (within 1-2 days), closely monitor the surface for white rust and address it promptly.
2. Treatment of minor white rust: If minor white rust or spots appear on the surface, disassemble and let it dry until the white rust turns into powder, then wipe it off and cover it with hot-dip galvanized manual spray paint to avoid secondary moisture.
3. Treatment of severe white rust
If the white rust is severe, the white rust attached to the surface must be completely removed, and the surface should be re-sprayed with hot-dip galvanized spray paint to cover it. After drying, avoid getting it damp again.
4. Optimize the storage environment. During the rainy season, keep the storage environment ventilated and dry, and avoid direct contact with damp ground or soil. When storing outdoors, it is recommended to cover it with a rainproof cloth.
