The surface treatment process for galvalume steel sheet & coil in China is usually divided into three parts. The first part is pretreatment, where the pretreatment process includes treatment such as oil removal, rust removal and surface activation. After pretreatment, the steel sheet is immersed in an Alu-Zn plating solution for the process of Alu-Zn plating, which results in the formation of an Alu-Zn alloy layer on its surface. Finally, if required, the surface of the galvalume steel sheet & coil may be subjected to other additional treatments such as coating, drawing, printing, etc.
