Set a new record! ANANG Rolled 0.15mm Cold-rolled Strip Steel Successfully

On April 17, the twenty-high rolling mill of the Cold Rolling Operation Department of Anyang Iron and Steel Production Base (Company) successfully rolled ultra-thin specification cold-rolled strip steel with a thickness of 0.15mm.

It only took the operation department one month to achieve the challenge of reducing the thickness specification of non-oriented silicon steel from 0.18mm to 0.15mm. Although the difference is only 0.03mm, due to the high silicon content in its chemical composition and the high brittleness of the material, the steel plate is easily prone to brittle fracture during the rolling process. The R&D team made overall plans and strived for excellence, optimizing and improving rolling mill precision control, operating skills, roll assembly preparation, and process systems, and they finally produced 0.15mm ultra-thin products.

The successful rolling of this product has once again expanded the range of non-oriented silicon steel products of the group company and injected new vitality into the company's transformation and development of special steel.
