After the acid rolling unit successfully rolled 0.2mm cold-rolled strip, the twenty-high rolling mill in the new material operation area once again achieved a breakthrough and successfully rolled 0.18mm cold-rolled strip. This product is as thin as a cicada's wings, breaking the rolling record of Henan Iron and Steel Group's ultra-thin specification non-oriented silicon steel.

It is understood that to break through the technical bottleneck of rolling non-oriented silicon steel with extremely thin specifications, technicians from the cold rolling (company) operation department have carried out everything from the formulation of rolling procedures, roll grinding processes, frame assembly accuracy to key points of operation control. Conduct careful analysis and research and formulate targeted control measures for possible problems. Finally, they achieved a breakthrough of 0.18mm.

The successful rolling of 2.75mm hot-rolled raw material into 0.18mm ultra-thin specification strip steel laid a technical foundation for the company's next step of rolling 2.3mm raw material into 0.15mm ultra-thin specification products.
