General Administration of Customs: China exported 5.63 million tons of steel plates in August.

According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, in August 2025, China exported 1.63 million tons of steel bars, a year-on-year increase of 51.0%; the cumulative exports from January to August were 12.25 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 52.2%.

In August, China exported 5.63 million tons of steel plates, down 15.1% year-on-year; from January to August, the cumulative exports were 48.08 million tons, down 0.1% year-on-year.
