General Administration of Customs: China's cumulative steel exports reached 54.874 million tons from January to June.

According to data released by the General Administration of Customs on July 14, China exported 10.32 million tons of steel in June, a decrease of 21,000 tons, or 0.2%, compared to the previous month. From January to June, cumulative steel exports reached 54.874 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 5.6%.

In June, my country imported 441,000 tons of steel, a decrease of 10,000 tons, or 2.2%, compared to the previous month. From January to June, cumulative steel imports reached 2.696 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 11.3%.

In June, my country imported 112.689 million tons of iron ore and its concentrates, an increase of 14.978 million tons, or 15.3%, compared to the previous month. From January to June, cumulative iron ore and its concentrate imports reached 628.868 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.3%.

In June, China imported 42.779 million tons of coal and lignite, an increase of 9.514 million tons, or 28.6%, compared with the previous month. From January to June, the cumulative imports of coal and lignite reached 225.4 million tons, an increase of 1.7% year-on-year.
