On June 19, Bensteel Group's hot rolling production broke through the limit of wide plates and successfully rolled 2180mm ultra-wide hot-rolled plates (Introduction), filling the technological gap in the domestic wide-width plate field and achieving product indicators that reached the international leading level.
At present, the width of plates and strips produced by traditional hot rolling mills in my country is concentrated in the range of 1500-2000mm. The 2180mm ultra-wide hot-rolled coils produced by Bensteel Group are widely used in new energy, shipbuilding, special containers and other fields. They can replace medium and thick plates (Introduction) and give birth to new processing technologies. They have broad market prospects and are of great significance to reshape the high-end steel market and promote the industry to develop in the direction of high added value and low carbonization.
To ensure the success of product rolling, Bensteel Plate Hot Rolling Plant carried out technical innovation in the whole process, accurately measured and dynamically optimized the key points of 29 steel-passing channels in the 2300 production line, and simultaneously innovated the tension control model of the coiler, solving the problems of stability and head tower shape of ultra-wide plates. At the same time, through accurate model calculation, rolling process optimization and roll type optimization, a standardized operation system was built to achieve a successful steel-passing at one time, providing data support for mass production.
