Pangang Titanium Pickling Coil Successfully Rolled Off Line

Recently, the first roll of 0.8mm titanium pickling coil produced by Pangang was successfully rolled off the pickling unit of Xichang New Steel Company, marking a major technological breakthrough in the field of high-end titanium material processing of Pangang.
Since the beginning of this year, in the face of severe market conditions, Xingang Industry Company has actively promoted the construction of the main support capabilities of the modern industrial chain of Pangang Titanium Metal, focused on process upgrades and product quality improvements, accelerated product technology iteration upgrades and new product development, and laid a solid foundation for Pangang titanium products to enter high-end markets such as nuclear power, aviation, and ocean.
The company set up a special pickling task force, and cooperated with research institutes and other scientific research units to creatively develop six core technologies such as precise weld control, dynamic tension compensation, and intelligent acid circulation by building a three-dimensional control system of "process parameters + equipment operation + quality monitoring" and an intelligent mapping model of "process parameters + quality indicators". It successfully solved the common problems of thin titanium materials in the continuous production, such as large surface color difference and micro peeling, and successfully broke through the 1.0mm design limit of the pickling unit. At present, the qualified rate of 0.8mm thin titanium coils produced by the company has reached 100%, the comprehensive yield rate is 98.5%, and the surface defect rate is better than the international full-length 5% control standard.
