ASTM A335 Gr.P11 is equivalent to domestic high speed steel. High speed steel is a complex alloy steel with tungsten, molybdenum, chromium, vanadium, cobalt and other carbide forming elements. The total amount of alloying elements amounts to about 10 to 25%. It is able to maintain a high hardness under high speed cutting with high heat (about 500°C).
